Skipton Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) was initially launched in November 2014 and is an initiative between Skipton BID, Skipton Town Against Night-time Disorder (STAND) and the Skipton Police.

The Partnership was re-launched on 19 January 2017, wherein Skipton BID informed its Members, that we would cover the cost of their access to the internet database and the use of the digital radio (subject to availability).

The Partnership aims to work together for the benefit of Skipton’s businesses by discouraging retail crime and anti-social behaviour, helping the police catch criminals and so making Skipton a better place in which to carry out business activities and a better place for residents and visitors alike.

The key to the success of the scheme is the sharing of information.
