Showcasing the best of our business community and providing an opportunity to celebrate quality and excellent service, Skipton Business Awards 2023 is now open.
Entry Guidelines
The awards are open to all businesses trading in Skipton. You can nominate a business for as many of the relevant categories as you wish and the application process is simple, as we are not asking for a huge amount of detail in the entry form. Simply tell us in no more than 300 words why you think the business should win the category award.

Best New Business Award – Sponsored by Le Caveau

This award recognises the predominantly office-based businesses delivering professional services throughout the town. Nominations might include the financial or legal sectors, architects, design agencies, insurance brokers and so much more.

This award is for independent businesses. Whether it sells something unique, or offers exceptional levels of care for customers, tell us about your favourite independent in the town centre and why they deserve to win the award.

Skipton is proud to have a number of well-established family run businesses. The winner of this award will have family members working in the business from more than one generation. Open to all sectors .

Skipton has a wealth of hospitality businesses. The winner of this award will celebrate the best food and/or drink-based business. Open to all hospitality businesses.
Best Tourism Business – Sponsored by Elsworth at the Mill
The winner of this award will celebrating the tourist offer in the town, this could be an attraction, experience, accommodation provider or business associated with the tourism or leisure sector.

Nominate your favourite salon and let us know why they deserve to win the award. With so many potential nominees throughout the town centre including hair, nails, skincare, and tattoo parlours.
