In March 1998 the practice moved to town centre premises in Skipton with a literary claim to fame. Formerly a terraced house, 24 Otley Street was once the home of Rudyard Kipling’s grandfather. The esteemed author himself lived in the house as a boy during his school holidays in the 1840s and 1850s. The office premises are now known as Kipling House and retain many original features, including a well in the garden.
