Join us for the Yorkshire Day 2026 Celebrations in Skipton!
Skipton is gearing up to host another fantastic Yorkshire Day celebration on Saturday 1st August, celebrating the significance of God’s Own County – and everyone is invited!
Following a fantastic celebration in 2025, the annual event will return to the Canal Basin and the adjacent car park – filling the space with Yorkshire pride, tradition and spirit.
The family-friendly event will run from 10am to 7pm, featuring free activities and entertainment for all ages, including…
- Morris dancers
- Face painting
- Crafting activities for children
- And much more!
This year, there will be live music on show on the Basin until 7pm – so vendors offering hot food & drinks are encouraged to stay for the whole day!
