Skipton BID Newsletter – December 2025

Attract visitors to your business and make 2026 your best year ever!

This upbeat marketing workshop will help you to spot current and future trends and to build stories to help promote your organisation.

The session will be run by Susan Briggs, Director of the Tourism Network, who has supported over 8,500 tourism and hospitality businesses to develop success.

This workshop will be held at Elsworth at the Mill on January 21st and is free thanks to UKSPF funding.

We are very pleased to fully fund Street Marshals to return and support welfare in our town over the busy festive period.

Two trained professionals will patrol Skipton town centre on five different dates during Christmas and New Year.

The aim is to provide welfare and safety support to Skipton’s evening and late-night community over one of the busiest times of the year.

All aboard for the first Tourism on Track event of 2026!

Taking place at the historic Bolton Abbey Station during English Tourism Week (13 – 22 March), the event invites attractions, accommodation providers, and tourism businesses from across the county to climb aboard to celebrate the start of a busy season for the visitor economy.

The event will feature a literature exchange, giving attractions the chance to share marketing materials with hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering providers.

There will also be plenty of time to connect with industry peers.
