Skipton’s brilliant business community gathered to celebrate at the town’s Business Awards earlier this month.

From Skipton’s Shining Star and Best New Business, to the top Retailer, Restaurant and Bar, the awards celebrate the quality and excellence on offer in Skipton!

Skipton BID is excited to be a part of a project created to breathe a new lease of life into the town centre.

Buzzing Skipton aims to improve the appearance and environment of five overlooked but significant areas of the town and will see Skipton BID join forces with local partners.

The latest figures from Skipton BID’s data partners at HUQ shows a ‘robust’ increase in footfall across the town.

The average daily count for Skipton was increased by more than 5,000 per day, with an increase of over 35,000 in the weekly average.

Skipton BID was pleased to welcome Ed Horner into the team September.

Ed joins the BID in the a new Projects and Communications Executive role.

Bringing over knowledge and experience from a previous position at Harrogate BID, Ed is excited to work alongside the team, BID Directors and Members to help drive Skipton forward!
