BID supports Council to organise business consultation workshop on Town Investment Plan
Skipton BID is pleased to be working in partnership with North Yorkshire Council to give local businesses the chance to have their say on future investment in the town.
The upcoming Skipton Town Investment Plan business consultation workshop will take place at Elsworth at the Mill on the morning of Tuesday, June 23rd from 8.30-10.30am.
It will be a great chance for local workers and business owners to come along and share their thoughts and feelings on how the best investment can be made into Skipton over future years.
Sarah Howsen, Skipton BID Manager, said: “We’re pleased to be working alongside North Yorkshire Council to deliver this opportunity for our local business community.
“It’s really important that the council work with our businesses to help shape the future of our town to be the best that it can.
“We’d really encourage all Skipton businesses to come along and share their thoughts and opinions!”
The Skipton Town Investment Plan is being developed to provide a clear evidence-based roadmap for future investment, looking at key areas where funding would make the town a greater place to live, work and do business.
This work is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and receives funding from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
If your business is based in Skipton or relies on the towns’ infrastructure, facilities or resources, then this is your opportunity to have a positive impact on future investment in the area.
North Yorkshire Council is seeking the views of Skipton’s local business community in this informal workshop, supported by the Senior Business Advisor for the area. So, bring your opinions and ideas and share them over a drink and a bacon sandwich.
