Does the idea of making videos for your business feel a bit overwhelming? You aren’t alone. Join Skipton BID for a down-to-earth, four-week course where we break down exactly how to use video to grow your business, without the tech headaches.
This isn’t a boring lecture. It’s a friendly, hands-on series designed to help you go from “I don’t know where to start” to “Look what I just posted!”
By registering, you are committing to attending each of the four sessions, as they are not standalone workshops.

Thursday June 25th – 5pm-7pm – Week 3: Putting it Together

How to turn your short clips into one great video.

The “how-to” of editing: cutting out the bits you don’t want and joining clips together.

Adding the finishing touches: music, text on the screen, and subtitles.

Using simple “shortcuts” and templates to save you time.

Sarah Collett – SBC Studio
Sarah Collett is the owner and creative force behind SBC Studio, a digital marketing and web design agency based in Skipton, launched in 2016. She specialises in creating strong brand bonds for businesses through strategy, websites, and content, and is actively involved in local business networking, co-founding initiatives like Skipton Business Networking and Thrive Circle.
Billy White – Films by Billy
Billy White is a Skipton-based filmmaker with an MA in Film Production who specialises in personality-driven storytelling, often focusing on social responsibility and sustainability. His captivating work encompasses promotional videos for small businesses and charities, and cinematic wedding films. A Brit School alumnus, his work has amassed 1.5 million views, featured on US television, and exhibited at Skipton Town Hall. In his free time, he enjoys live music, international cinema, and exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
