The Skipton Hotel are seeking an experienced Operations Manager! We have a very exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to support all operational departments at our busy property located in Skipton. The Skipton Hotel is a great addition to the Amaze hotel portfolio, with 96 bedrooms and conference facilities catering for up to 500. We are seeking an Operations Manager who is looking for their next exciting opportunity. The Skipton Hotel is located on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and has a wide variety of leisure and business guests which provide a great variety to the role.

In this role, no two days will be the same, it is a delightfully varied role.

Your main responsibility is to ensure the day to day running of the operations department and that the Head of Departments are supported and have the correct tools and training to do their roles. This is achieved by working with our guest feedback programme to identify areas of improvement, assisting in training and recruiting the right team and providing fantastic customer service to all our guests.

Other duties included:

· Working with the compliance manager to ensure all areas of the property comply with health and safety policies and procedures and that your team are keeping up to date with any changes.

· Holding regular reviews with all Head of Departments, to identify areas that need improvement, providing support and enabling them to run their departments successfully.

· Conducting Duty Management shifts and speak to our guests regularly to promote all areas of the hotel and what we offer.

· Motivating and directing the hotel team to achieve our goals

· Work with our marketing team to devise promotions and strategies to maximise revenue across all department.

· Ensure cost control policies are in place in all areas and that the hotel is operating efficiently.
